Fun pics!!

Jason took Ian on the trampoline and the static made his hair stick straight up. His hair sticks up enough on it's own.

Brenna loves to take pictures with me so we decided to have a little fun pulling faces.

I was giving Ian a bath and Brenna decided to hop in. It's now her favorite thing. Every time I bath Ian she wants to take one with him.

She is such a goofball. I was finishing laundrey and she decided to hop in.

Brenna's 4th birthday

She turned 4 years old on Wednesday, but Brenna had her birthday party the weekend before. She had a Tinkerbell party. She is obsessed with anything Tinkerbell. She had such a fun party. She had a bunch of her friends over and they had a blast. They got to play on the trampoline and swingset for awhile while we waited for everyone to get here and then they played some games.

I made my own Tinkerbell Bingo game and they had to color the picture of Tink that matched the one I was holding up. Most of them decided to color all the pictures at once....I guess we have to wait awhile before they're ready for Bingo night. But they had fun doing it and once they got the hang of what to do they were so excited when they actually found the right picture.

After that game was done we played "Pin the Flower in Tinkerbell's hair." I bought a regular Tink poster and then told them to put the flower in Tink's hair, after I blindfolded them and spun them around a few times.

Then, finally, it was time for the cake. Brenna was so excited to finally be able to blow out her candles and have some cake. She got a little upset when the other kids decided to help blow out the candles so we had to relight them and let her do it. Jason was disappointed because he bought some trick candles that are supposed to not blow out but they blew out of course in one breath. That's what he gets for trying to be tricky.

While everyone was eating cake Brenna got to open her presents. I think she made out like a bandit this year. Her great-grandma McQuiddy got her a Hooked on Phonics game, which is great because Brenna loves to do stuff like learning her letters and drawing them and doing the sounds. She got TONS of Tinkerbell stuff like pens, paper, dolls, bracelet, and a Tinkerbell dress-up set (which she wears everyday). Plus she got of dress up accessories and coloring stuff. Everything she got she absolutely loves!!! Sometimes she'll get presents that I wonder what the people were thinking that got it for her but this year everything she got was wonderful!

For her actual birthday we got her a new bike. She has been wanting one for a while now but we have been waiting until she gets the basic idea of what to do with a bike. She was so excited because she got to pick it out. She now wants to ride it everyday. She is still getting the hang of how to stear but she's getting better.

Tink Cake

I decided to do my own cake for Brenna this year. She loves Tinkerbell and I didn't really like the cakes they had in the stores. I was a little worried if I could do a good job but I think it turned out pretty good. We'll find out tomorrow at her party if it tastes good too.

Born to be Wild

Brenna has always loved sitting on motorcycles and watching them but has been scared to actually ride them. She tried last year but as soon as Jason started turning it freaked her out. She decided to give it another try this year and she loved it!!! She even rode on the back and got up and down all by herself. She's going to be a motorcycle fanatic just like her daddy, nana, and papa. Yay Brenna!!! I have a video of it but since we have slow dial-up internet it takes forever to upload so as soon as I get to the library I will load it up. As soon as we get a helmet for her she will be having tons of fun. We just went to the church parking lot this time.

Picks of the cool bikes at Harley weekend.

There were a lot of cool bikes down there All of the casino parking lots were full of motorcycles. If you drove a car you had to park in the dirt or park far away and do a lot of walking. they even tried to charge us $20 to park in the mall when we had to take something back to the store. If I were to take pictures of all the bikes that we saw there wouldn't be a memory card big enough so here are just a few.
This is a trike bike. They might be pretty comfy to ride in the backseat, as long as you don't have anybody too big in the back.

This looked like a suped up lawnmower to me. It has a V8 engine but they put a governor on it so it doesn't go above 20 or something like. Why have an engine that big if you can't go fast? What a waste of a V8.
This motorcycle had a Viper engine on it. I'm sure the owners knew how to utilize that properly.

This was one of the bikes that had a V8 engine. Talk about lots of horsepower! Plus it had a cool paint job.

I think this was another bike that had a V8 engine. They started one of the bikes near this one and boy was it loud.

You can't really see it in this picture but there were skulls in the paint job that looked really cool.

The guys that owned the bike were really nice and let Jason sit on the bike when he was trying to take a picture of it. Most of the people that have bikes don't usually let people sit on them.
Jason was loving it down there and drooling over the bikes. He wants to have a Harley eventually.....but that will be awhile down the road. Keep Dreaming Honey!

Vacation!

This week we all went on a much needed vacation. Jason finished up school so he was ready for a break, and it just so happened to coincide with Harley weekend down in Laughlin, NV, where Jason's from. On the way down we stopped for a night in Mesquite, NV to stay with his parents. When we went to the store to get some stuff for dinner we had a little car drama. Since the weather was so nice we decided to drive with the windows down. When we got the store the driver's side window wouldn't go back up. The motor for the window decided it wasn't just time for a vacation but for retirement. Good thing the weather was so nice. So we had to empty everything out of our car and hope that someone didn't decide to steal it during the night. The funny part was after we emptied everything out, Jason locked the car, just in case. =) We found a repair shop that said the could fix it first thing in the morning, but the repair shop failed to tell us that they didn't have the part in stock and that they would have to get it from somewhere else, which turned out to be Vegas. So first thing in the morning turned out to be after they got the part and then they went to lunch.
So to amuse ourselves while waiting for the car to be fixed we had to find things to amuse ourselves. Jason's mom has a little scooter and last time we were here Brenna was scared to ride it but this time we almost had to peel her off it because she had so much fun riding it.

Once the car was fixed we continued on to my mom's house. Yay!! Brenna was so excited because Nana (my mom) told her she put up her pool for her to play in. As soon as we pulled up and she saw the pool she couldn't get out of the car and into her swimsuit fast enough. She is such a little fish. She convinced Daddy to play in the pool with her after dinner and Ian got his first swimming lesson too. Brenna played in the pool everyday we were there, usually several times and for several hours each day.

Nana got to babysit the kids Friday night while me and Jason went out for a couple hours to walk through all the vendors for the Laughlin River Run. Nana loves her grandkids and had fun watching them. When my sister was living there she had my niece's bed in my mom's room so while we were there Brenna got to sleep in that bed. She thought it was so cool to sleep in Nana's room, in her "own" bed. It was so nice to be able to go and visit my mom, even though we couldn't spend a lot of time together cuz she had to work. Things get super busy at the dealership during the River Run so she couldn't take any time off. We still had fun though. Thank you Nana! WE had lots of fun playing in your pool and riding your motorcycle and Razr....wait a minute....I didn't get to do any of those...just Jason and Brenna did....oh phooey.
