Picks of the cool bikes at Harley weekend.

There were a lot of cool bikes down there All of the casino parking lots were full of motorcycles. If you drove a car you had to park in the dirt or park far away and do a lot of walking. they even tried to charge us $20 to park in the mall when we had to take something back to the store. If I were to take pictures of all the bikes that we saw there wouldn't be a memory card big enough so here are just a few.
This is a trike bike. They might be pretty comfy to ride in the backseat, as long as you don't have anybody too big in the back.

This looked like a suped up lawnmower to me. It has a V8 engine but they put a governor on it so it doesn't go above 20 or something like. Why have an engine that big if you can't go fast? What a waste of a V8.
This motorcycle had a Viper engine on it. I'm sure the owners knew how to utilize that properly.

This was one of the bikes that had a V8 engine. Talk about lots of horsepower! Plus it had a cool paint job.

I think this was another bike that had a V8 engine. They started one of the bikes near this one and boy was it loud.

You can't really see it in this picture but there were skulls in the paint job that looked really cool.

The guys that owned the bike were really nice and let Jason sit on the bike when he was trying to take a picture of it. Most of the people that have bikes don't usually let people sit on them.
Jason was loving it down there and drooling over the bikes. He wants to have a Harley eventually.....but that will be awhile down the road. Keep Dreaming Honey!

Vacation!

This week we all went on a much needed vacation. Jason finished up school so he was ready for a break, and it just so happened to coincide with Harley weekend down in Laughlin, NV, where Jason's from. On the way down we stopped for a night in Mesquite, NV to stay with his parents. When we went to the store to get some stuff for dinner we had a little car drama. Since the weather was so nice we decided to drive with the windows down. When we got the store the driver's side window wouldn't go back up. The motor for the window decided it wasn't just time for a vacation but for retirement. Good thing the weather was so nice. So we had to empty everything out of our car and hope that someone didn't decide to steal it during the night. The funny part was after we emptied everything out, Jason locked the car, just in case. =) We found a repair shop that said the could fix it first thing in the morning, but the repair shop failed to tell us that they didn't have the part in stock and that they would have to get it from somewhere else, which turned out to be Vegas. So first thing in the morning turned out to be after they got the part and then they went to lunch.
So to amuse ourselves while waiting for the car to be fixed we had to find things to amuse ourselves. Jason's mom has a little scooter and last time we were here Brenna was scared to ride it but this time we almost had to peel her off it because she had so much fun riding it.

Once the car was fixed we continued on to my mom's house. Yay!! Brenna was so excited because Nana (my mom) told her she put up her pool for her to play in. As soon as we pulled up and she saw the pool she couldn't get out of the car and into her swimsuit fast enough. She is such a little fish. She convinced Daddy to play in the pool with her after dinner and Ian got his first swimming lesson too. Brenna played in the pool everyday we were there, usually several times and for several hours each day.

Nana got to babysit the kids Friday night while me and Jason went out for a couple hours to walk through all the vendors for the Laughlin River Run. Nana loves her grandkids and had fun watching them. When my sister was living there she had my niece's bed in my mom's room so while we were there Brenna got to sleep in that bed. She thought it was so cool to sleep in Nana's room, in her "own" bed. It was so nice to be able to go and visit my mom, even though we couldn't spend a lot of time together cuz she had to work. Things get super busy at the dealership during the River Run so she couldn't take any time off. We still had fun though. Thank you Nana! WE had lots of fun playing in your pool and riding your motorcycle and Razr....wait a minute....I didn't get to do any of those...just Jason and Brenna did....oh phooey.

Hoppy Easter!!

I know Easter is officially Sunday, but we celebrated today, Saturday. Last night we decorated eggs so the Easter Bunny could hide them. Brenna loved decorating them. We did 18, but that wasn't enough for her, she wanted to do more. We got a glitter decorating thing from the store but I don't think it worked very well.....The would have worked out better getting glitter glue or something. Oh well, Brenna still had fun doing it.

When Brenna woke up this morning the Easter Bunny left her a surprise. She got some candy, sidewalk chalk, paints, and books. She was so excited about the books because one was a Dora the Explorer and the other was a Transformers book. I know, complete opposites but she loved them both. She also got a new swimsuit too. It's a blue Tinkerbell swimsuit (Tinkerbell is her new obsession for this year). Now she can go swimming!! Ian got a cute new easter outfit. He got a onesie that says "chicks dig me" and some shorts. I tried to find him a cute little baseball cap, but everywhere I looked they were all too big, even the extra small in the infant section at Old Navy. Oh well, I guess I'll jsut have to keep shopping.

When she was done looking in her baskter she emptied it out and then went on an egg hunt in the house and yard. She made a lovely fashion statement with dora footie pajamas with her shoes on over them. But she had fun looking for all the eggs.

We then got ready and went up to the Easter egg hunt in Morgan. I remember going to the hunt when I was little and they never had enough eggs for all the kids and there were hardly any prizes. I am pleased to say that it is much improved. They had it sectioned off into 4 different age groups and they had tons of eggs. Brenna had fun running around and trying to get eggs. She wasn't the most efficient hunter though. She would stop and pick up an egg, ignore the 5 others around and take off running to another spot. She only got 3, but one of those was a prize egg so I guess it paid off. she got a cute little basket that had candy in it. They had a ton of prizes available that almost all the kids were able to get a prize, at least for the younger kids. So whoever was in charge of the Easter egg hunt for Morgan, Good Job!!!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!!!
