Happy Birthday, IAN!!!
My handsome little guy turned 4 this year!! I can't believe how big he has gotten. It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He is definitely a momma's boy and a big sweetheart. He always comes up to me and gives me a hug and kiss and says "I like you!" He is definitely all boy too!! He won't wear any clothes that have "girl" colors and if you call him cute....watch out!! He gets so mad! He says he is not cute, he is cool! =) He loves to box, wrestle, pretend he's "IronThor" (he wears his iron man costume with a cape) and run around crazy! But he still loves to sit and cuddle me when he gets the chance. His favorite things are Avengers right now. You can convince him to do anything if you can connect it to one of them....except Black Widow because she's a girl. I am so grateful to have this little man as my son. I love him more than I could ever hope to express. He is a true blessing in our lives. I know he is one of our Father in Heavens strong spritual warriors and I can't wait to see him grow into that. I don't always have the patience I should with him....especially when he is supposed to be taking a nap but is instead playing with robots....but I am eternally grateful he is my little stinker. He is such a special little guy and is so full of life (aka mischief!). I wouldn't change a thing about him!! I love you, IAN!!!

The past few weeks....
I have been a slacker at updating the blog. It has been a bit busy around here with the baby, Christmas, the Christmas break, and then trying to get back in the swing of things with Brenna in school. so this will be more just a bunch of pictures (which that's all anyone really wants is to see baby pictures =) )

Our new arrival!!
Sophie Marie Hansen was born December 4th, 2012 @ 9:44am. She was 5 lbs. 12 oz. 19 inches. We are so happy to have her in our family. Her brother and sister adore her. The first few days were tough because the hospital has their winter visiting restrictions so they weren't able to come see her. Jason found a window in a hallway that they were able to look in so he brought her to that so they could at least look at her. I had to have a c-section. But luckily everything went smoothly. I was even able to go home a day early. We had a bit of a concern with Sophie one night. When they weighed her for her daily assessment they said ah had lost 9 oz. Now that may not seem like much bit since she was so small that's a lot. They told me.to supplement with formula that night and they would reweigh her in the morning. So we side. She didn't really eat much burner jn the morning she had somehow gained 5 oz. So I think there was something up with the Wales the night before and her doctor agreed. He said since she was so active and alert that there was no concern, especially since my other kids were about the same size. She is such a sweetie and a good baby so far. The first day she was home, Ian wouldn't let anyone else hold her. Both kids argue over whose turn it is. So I have a great bargaining tool.....if they want to hold the baby, they have to be good and do what I say. I can't wait to see the personality that she has. She is a.definite blessing in our lives. Welcome to our family, Sophie!!!
