Ian took his first steps awhile ago but he wouldn't walk around. He would just take a step or two between the couch and table or the wall. But now.....he's all over the place!!! It seems like in jsut the past week or so he has really taken off. He started taking a step more each day day and now he can walk all over. He still walks like a drunken sailor...but he's walking!!! I can't wait till he's sturdy enough to be walking on his own in the store or outside. I can't wait to not have to carry him all over. I also can't wait for him to be able to go play outside with his sister. He doesn't get to right now because crawling in mud is not exactly very clean. I know I'll be pulling my hair out chasing after him in the store when he decides to run off....but he'll still be small enough to rope down in the cart =). i was going to load a video on here of him walking, but the video I have is on my phone and blogspot doesn't support the type of file it is, so I'll get one of him walking on the camera video and load....it just takes forever to load on this computer. Now I just want the weather to warm up a little so they can play outside....being cooped up is driving them and me crazy!! I want nice spring-like weather (not about 75) so I can go out walking again, let the kids play outside, take them to the park, and not be cooped up inside!! I think I'm coming down with a case of spring fever...the only cure...nice weather and and non-muddy lawn =).
I think my almost 5-year old is getting stir crazy too!! she has been very moody, stubborn, not listening, and throwing fits. I am blaming the weather on this. She was doing good for while when she was able to play outside for a little while, but now that sh'es been cooped up the past few weeks, she's back to throwing fits. Hopefully with the weather due to be good this week she can get all her energy out and play outside lots! I think she has been getting bored and this has caused her to get in trouble. I just want my sweet girl back that doesn't get into trouble every five minutes and that I don't have to constantly get mad at. That's no fun for me!!! So here's wishing that playing outside this week will help her out!!
